David is the current Club Professional at Greystones Golf Club, returning to his home club from Blainroe Golf Club in February 2021.
David qualified as a PGA Professional in 2006 from Greystones Golf Club having spent 5 years there as a junior before taking the assistant professional role. From there he worked as a PGA Professional at the prestigious Kahkwa Club PA, USA- host of many USGA national championships. David returned back to Ireland and founded Wicklow Golf Academy at Greystones Driving Range. He lead a staff of 6 employees and developed the academy into one of the busiest coaching facilities in Ireland with a vast client base from clubs all over the Leinster region.
After a brief spell as Club Professional at Bray Golf Club, David gained the position of Club Professional at Blainroe Golf Club in April 2017 to January 2021.
David is also available to coach at Greystones Driving Range on selected days.
David has a huge passion in developing golfers of all levels and is a huge believer in continuous development. He attends numerous seminars around the UK and Ireland to develop and grow as a golf coach.
